Pioneer Square Art Walk

Audio Visual showcases collabrative works created by Katie working with three local artists, Ryan Henry Ward, Ten Hundred, and Wakuda. The opening night for art walk will also include solo and collabrative performances by some of the northwests brightest musical acts, Andrew D. B. Joslyn, Daniel Blue (of Mottopony), Tobias the Owl, and James Anaya and the Current. The show is sponsored by Folk Life, Seattle Acousic Music Fest, New Amdertam Vodka, and 10% of art sale proceeds will be donated to Art Corps.

Commissioned to create a custom sculpture for the annual Doe Bay music festival on Orcas Island.  Sculpture "Ouroboros" is a continuing project between Katie and the festival where musicians who play at Doe Bay are invited to sign the piece.

BROKEN SILENCE

First solo exhibition of work.  "Broken Silence" exhibited 11 works for the month of June in Seattle's Pioneer Square neighborhood, opening for the June first thursday artwalk.  This showing resulted in the sculpture "Dangerous Attraction" being nominated and then placing second in City Arts Magazine's Best of Summer Artwalk Awards.
